Big announcement: the list reveal will be taking place later this year

Following huge success in highlighting and promoting the best in the business when it comes to gastropubs and cocktail bars, the Top 50 brand is now expanding further into hospitality with the launch of the definitive guide to boutique hotels.

Currently offering insight into the best places to eat and drink, the launch of Top 50 Boutique Hotels now adds sleep to the list, highlighting some of the best places to stay in the UK.

With demand for staycation breaks and first-rate experiences on the rise, the list will give consumers the definitive low-down on the best in the trade.

Dedicated ceremony

The 2021 list will be revealed in November at a dedicated ceremony, where a number of further specialist awards will also be announced, with thanks to headline partner, Taylors of Harrogate.

If you’re running an accommodation operation that sets the bar high, then this is the list you need to get yourself on.

The lists are created every year with the intention of giving the industry the recognition and the boost they deserve. The new venture for Boutique Hotels will follow the same process as its sister events, recruiting over 100 industry experts to cast their votes for the best establishments in the UK. Written recommendations from the voting academy will be collected and counted to create the list - this really is the industry’s choice.

It’s more important now than ever to support the industry, the Gastropub and Cocktail Bar communities have really reaped the benefits of being part of the Top 50s over the years, and particularly during the pandemic by using their new connections to share ideas and collaborate.

Voting academy

The Top 50 team are currently recruiting for their voting academy, so whether you’re an operator with rooms, a hotelier, writer, blogger, or designer, they would love to hear from you. Taking part would not only raise your own profile within the industry, but also lead to many hotels being recognised as a top location, providing great marketing opportunities.

Top 50 publisher Chris Lowe said: “It has been an ambition of ours to expand the Top 50 brand into the accommodation sector for some time. There are some amazing and unique boutique hotels across the UK to stay and our aim is to create a list that recognises these, builds a community amongst its operators and offers an easy way for local and global tourists to discover these. As the list is voted for by the community, it really means more to be included.
