Robinsons Brewery
Stockport-based Robinsons Brewery owns 230 tenanted sites across the north Wales and the north west of England. Founded in 1849, the brewery continues to be run by the fifth and sixth generations of the Robinson family.
In its most recent tenant survey, the brewery was given a 92% satisfaction rating for tenanted support in the last 12 months.
Shepherd Neame
Founded in Faversham in 1698, Kent-based Shepherd Neame is Britain’s oldest beer maker and winner of the Best Tenanted/Leased Pub Company (up to 500 sites) at last year’s Publican Awards.
Today the company produces household name beers such as Spitfire and operates more than 300 pubs across London and the south east – from the heart of the city to the Kent-coast.
Wells & Co
Formerly known as Charles Wells, independent, family-owned business Wells & Co was founded in 1876 and currently operates an estate of 190 pubs in the UK and 17 in France.
The operator is also a finalist in this year’s Best Managed Pub Company category.
Greene King
Suffolk-based Greene King was founded in 1799 and currently employs around 40,000 people across
2,900 sites spanning England, Wales and Scotland – of which in the region of 1,150 are tenanted, leased and franchised pubs.
In addition to reaching the final of this year’s Best Tenanted and Leased Pub Company award, Greene King is also shortlisted for the Best Pub Employer, Best Community Pub Operator and Best Food Offer awards.
