There are a limited number of spots at the bar, which is aimed at anyone interested in a tutored cocktail-making session as well as a little banter from the bartender and other guests.
Those wanting to get their names on the list for the launch night must express their interest by emailing Top 50 Cocktail Bars editor Nicholas Robinson at Nicholas.Robinson@wrbm.com.
Created on the night
Two drinks will be created on the night and guests at the bar will be sent a list of ingredients in advance to purchase alongside their weekly trip to the supermarket to collect essential food items.
Attendees can choose to make one or both of the drinks at home at the same time as the bartender goes live on-screen, or can simply sit back and enjoy the tutorial.
Robinson said: “Obviously, no one has been able to go to a cocktail bar over the past few weeks so we thought we’d partner with Kuckoo to try and create a bit of the cocktail bar fun at home.
“If you’re interested in coming along, then drop me an email and do it quick because it’s a small bar and the spaces are filling up quickly.”
List of ingredients
He continued: “When you register your interest, I’ll reply with a diary invite containing a list of ingredients you’ll need to buy on your weekly shopping trip, as well as the simple equipment you’ll need (as well as suggested alternatives) to make the drinks.
“Then, sometime before the bar opens, I’ll send you a reminder along with the details of how to get into the cocktail bar.”
Please email Nicholas.Robinson@wrbm.com to register your interest to join the event.
