New event: exhibition will showcase the low-and-no alcohol sector

Leading media business company William Reed has revealed it will be holding a new trade show designed to support the development of the low-to-no alcohol sector.

The exhibition aims to feature a broad spectrum of low-and-no alcohol drink brands ranging from beers, ciders, wines and spirits to craft ciders, adult soft drinks, cordials and mixers.

William Reed managing director of exhibitions Andrew Reed said: “Declining alcohol consumption coupled with strong innovation in low-and-no alcohol drinks indicates to us the sector is set for strong growth and the community needs an opportunity to come together to better understand and realise the full potential that is out there.”

Latest sector insight

The drinks will be showcased on exhibitor stands and there will be a live content programme of insight and trend analysis provided by category experts HIM, MCA and other leading companies.

Reed said this event will offer clients the opportunity to network, digest the latest sector insight and to taste the latest products coming to, and already available, on the market.

He added that as a leading B2B media provider in this sector, it has collectively brought together The Morning Advertiser, The GrocerBigHospitality, Beverage Daily, HIM and MCA to help clients make the most of the opportunity.

Successful trade shows

Diageo and Heineken, and no-alcohol drinks brands Everleaf and Stryyk, are already confirmed as exhibitors.

Stryyk marketing manager James Pattison commented: “We are delighted to be part of the first Low 2 No Bev show next year – the first of its kind in the UK – championing a category of exponential growth and importance to both on and off-trade operators.”

William Reed’s portfolio of established and successful trade shows includes Food & Drink Expo Farm Shop & Deli Show and The Restaurant Show.

It also owns The World’s 50 Best Restaurants awards.

The show will be taking place on 17-18 June 2020, at The Old Truman Brewery, east London.
