Neat tweets: who said what and when?

The great and good of the pub and bar trade swarmed on Battersea Evolution this week to celebrate success within the industry, and here's what they had to say.

It all began with the build, and The Morning Advertiser editor Ed Bedington lent a helping hand in setting up the bars with his personal hardhat.

It took near 48 hours' worth of work to build some 16 bars and one DIY snack station.

We also had a strong message surrounding the environment and stamping out plastic use in the Sky VIP lounge.

And once it was all built, they then began to arrive in their droves, with 1,400 descending on the party.

Some even found novel ways to get there. By boat…

…train, car or rickshaw. They came.

Once there, the drinks flowed and so the party began.

Relationships were cemented and grown…

And great conversations and fun was had.

Many celebrated worthy victories with their teams.

Some even did a bit of celebrity spotting and selfie-taking.

Mostly, they celebrated with competitors and colleagues within the trade.

Overall, most would agree it was a great night of success.

Thanks for coming, we'll be publishing the winners in the next issue of The Morning Advertiser.

And, until next year, bye for now.
