Award winner: the 2017 John Smith's Great British Pub of the Year, the Eagle & Child, is in the running
Thirteen pubs are battling it out in one category at the 2018 Restaurant and Bar Design awards, and the winner will be chosen at the awards presentation on 4 October.
Thirteen pubs from across England and Wales – including the 2017 John Smith's Great British Pub of the Year winner, the Eagle & Child in Ramsbottom – are in with a chance of scooping the 2018 pub category award, with the winner to be announced on 4 October after deliberation by a panel of judges.
Last year's pub category award was won by No197 Chiswick Fire Station, in Chiswick, London.
The pubs in the running for this year's award are:
