The latest branch of Stonegate Pub Company’s club chain Popworld will open in Manchester on 24 August.

Since opening its first site in Southampton in 2014, Popworld has grown rapidly, with the new opening in Manchester becoming the chain’s 26th venue.

As reported by The Morning Advertiser, Stonegate – which won both the 2017 and 2018 awards for Best Late Night Operator at the Publican Awards – opened Popworld’s 25th site in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, in March 2018.

The new site in Manchester is expected to deliver 15 new jobs to its local community.

The opening weekend will be marked by a VIP party held on Friday 24 August, an appearance by Edele Lynch from B*Witched on Saturday 25 August, and an Emoji party to round off the weekend’s proceedings on Sunday.

Popworld brand manager Jamie Rosenfeld said: “We are so excited to bring Popworld to Manchester for the first time.

“We have had such great success over the past few years and are continuing to grow as a brand, throwing unforgettable parties across the UK.

“With this new site we can’t wait to show off what we are all about and provide a great party for all Mancunians!”

Stonegate’s estate of branded and traditional pubs comprises a total of 692 pubs, including Slug & Lettuce, Yates, Walkabout and Common Room sites.
