The Logan Rock Inn in Penzance, Cornwall asked the thief to “do the right thing” and return the autographed photograph of the controversial politician.
The pub said on its Facebook page: “We regret to inform, we have had another theft at the pub.
“To the person that stole the signed picture of Nigel Farage, we are giving you the opportunity to return it before we call the police and hand over the CCTV footage.
“Please do the right thing.”
It added: “We appreciate people have their opinions but regardless of how anybody might feel about Nigel Farage, it’s still theft.
“We have a large collection of autographs at the pub and don’t accept people's opinions are a good excuse for things being stolen.”
Comments on Facebook were divided, some said the absence of the picture was “a public service” but others said the subject matter did not matter and “theft is still theft”.
Autograph collection
Anita George, who runs the 16th-century pub with her husband Peter, said the theft took place during a busy period.
She told The Morning Advertiser: “We were very busy when this incident occurred, and it wasn't until the next morning that I noticed it was missing.
“I collect autographs as well as picture autographs and have them displayed in the pub.
“Some of the signed photos are given to charities to raise money.”
'Very disappointed'
She added: “I was naturally very disappointed by this.
“I will do my best to get another.”
Nigel Farage led UKIP from 2006 to 2009 and again from 2010 to 2016.
