The Hart House’s general manager Ross Anziska said: “We want to establish Hart House at the centre of our local community – as a pub for everyone. Hart House offers an exciting meeting place for local people to socialise, work and celebrate together.”

Anziska added: “We hope Hart House will provide people in the Hart area with another reason why it is the best place to live in the UK."

In terms of food offering, the Hart House will offer a weekly changing Sunday roast menu alongside a menu of pub classics such as a prime beef burger; steak of the day; and honey-glazed gammon with chips, fried egg and pineapple relish; while also offering a broad vegan menu.

The pub’s team of chefs is to be headed by award-winning chef Ray Brenner who was crowned ‘Best Pub Restaurant Chef’ in the national Craft Guild of Chef Awards 2015.

The site’s coffee shop will offer both eat-in and takeaway options during its 8am to 5.30pm opening hours, with an express breakfast range available alongside a toasted sandwich menu as well as coffee from the Orang-utan coffee project, which protects orang-utans, the rainforest and supports the local farmers and communities of Sumatra, Indonesia.

Anziska added: “Whether people want to pop in for breakfast, coffee and a cake, a quick bite with a pint or a full three-course meal, a very warm welcome awaits them.

“We can’t wait to welcome locals to Hart House to experience its great new look and food and drink for themselves.”
