Tom Kerridge’s Pub in the Park – who’s there?

Celebrity chef Tom Kerridge’s Pub in the Park food and drink festival has expanded to four locations and features some of the UK’s finest gastropubs and restaurants, but who will be starring at each event?

Kerridge, who has two pubs on the Estrella Damm Top 50 Gastropubs list, launched Pub in the Park last year in Higgison Park, Marlow, Buckinghamshire, but has spread the event out to four locations this year due to popular demand.

Several Michelin-starred operations will be represented across the four events including Kerridge’s the Coach and the Hand & Flowers, both based in Marlow.

Other gastropub chef friends featuring at the events include Steven Harris from the Sportsman in Seasalter, Kent; Andrew Pern from the Star Inn at Harome, North Yorkshire; Josh Eggleton from the Pony & Trap, Chew Magna, Bristol; and Rob Taylor from the Compasses Inn, Canterbury, Kent.

  • Bath: 8–10 June, Royal Victoria Park
  • Tunbridge Wells: 6–8 July, Dunorlan Park

As well as nosh from top chefs and their outlets, visitors to the festivals will be able to buy food and drink from local artisan producers. Crafts and furniture will also be available to buy from many of the locations.

Each festival will have live music throughout the daytime and evening, including performances by Jamie Cullum, The Milk, Texas, Melanie C, Razorlight and Will Young to name a few.

Some 40,000 tickets were sold within 24 hours of going on sale, according to local paper the Bucks Free Press.
