Pizza, Pots & Pints pub concept launches in second Cambridge site

Pub concept Pizza, Pots & Pints is set to open another site at the Carpenter’s Arms in Cambridge later this year.

The pub will close for a full refit on 22 January and plans to reopen in March.

While this will be the fifth Pizza, Pots & Pints in the region, it is the second in Cambridge, to go alongside flagship site, the Salisbury Arms.

In the club

The MA500 club is heading to Cambridge next month (February) and the Salisbury Arms is just one of the exciting venues we will be visiting on our study tour.

Operations director Benjamin Smith said: “Cambridge was home to our very first Pizza, Pots & Pints and has proven extremely popular, so, of course, it made perfect sense to open another on the other side of what is our home city.

“There’s passion in everything we do at Pizza, Pots & Pints, from our freshly made artisan pizza, cooked onsite in our wood-fired ovens, and warming terracotta pots of comfort food like mac ‘n’ cheese, to bottled craft beers, pints of cask ale, and wines and spirits from across the world."

Local community

He added: “On top of this, our local community is very important to us. We host events and menu deals designed to suit our guests, whether that is two-for-one Mondays, live music on a Friday, or Sunday roast.

“There will always be something happening at the Carpenter’s Arms that locals can be a part of. Pizza, Pots & Pints is all about great food and drink that can be shared in a fun, friendly and sometimes crazy place.

“We are going to begin work on upgrading the building from 22 January 2018 and hope to be open again at the end of March 2018.”
