Online craft beer distributor EeBriaTrade is to offer discounts on different beers from independent breweries throughout January.

The offer is designed to help boost the national Tryanuary campaign, which returns this month for the fourth year, and is designed to to encourage the growth of the beer industry in what is, traditionally, a challenging month for retailers, publicans and breweries.

This year, for the first time, the campaign will include ‘Tryanuary Beer Days’ where one of its many volunteers will take over the Tryanuary social media channels from a different location in UK & Ireland each day and will celebrate everything that’s brilliant about beer in their area.

Curated deals

In conjunction with this, EebriaTrade will select and curate one-off deals every day from breweries in the corresponding area for publicans and retailers to purchase nationwide.

All beers will be available to buy on www.eebriatrade.com/tryanuary and each beer will have a discount applied for one day only.

“January can be a tough month for both retailers and publicans,” said EebriaTrade CEO David Jackson. “So we decided to create this nationwide incentive to offer them a chance to be part of the exciting Tryanuary incentive while giving their customers an opportunity to try new and exciting beers throughout January.”

Predictions for 2018

Publicans, retailers and consumers are encouraged to partake in the month-long, nationwide industry drive using the hashtags #tryanuary and #tryeebria.

Last month, Eebria Trade outlined its top five predictions for the UK beer market in 2018.

The company collected data during a 12-month period, and based its predictions on sales from its website to the on-trade.

Higher ABV beers, sours and imperial stouts were three of the trends predicted to grow in 2018.
