Craft Beer Rising (CBR) will run from 22-24 February at the historic Old Truman Brewery site on Brick Lane. The festival will showcase beer from 175 different breweries across the world, and this year returns with a new street-food programme and a broader selection of ciders.
Established brewers and new faces
Well established breweries such as Meantime, Sierra Nevada and Oakham Ales will return, while there are new faces such as Unity Brewing Co and Fierce Beer. Orchard Pig, Thistly Cross Cider and Sheppy's represent the Cider industry at this year’s festival.
This year’s edition also sees the festival expand from 8,000 to 12,000 attendees across its three days, while there will also be a broader range of international beers on offer from the likes of Yeastie Boys, Little Creatures and Stone Brewing Berlin.
Street food and DJ sets
Street food will be provided by a range of London based traders, including Prairie Fire BBQ, Le Bao, Salty Loins and Kolkati. There will also be bar snacks from the likes of Serious Pig and the Curators, and cheese boards from Paxton & Whitfield.
On the entertainment front, there will be sets from DJs Krafty Kuts, Daddy G of Massive Attack, Radio 6’s Don Letts and A Guy Called Gerald.
Tickets for the festival start at £15 and include a free CBR pint glass.
