Fuller's to open two flagship train station sites

Fuller’s is set to open pubs in two London train stations, The Morning Advertiser's sister site MCA has learnt.

Building on the success of the company’s award-winning Parcel Yard site at King’s Cross station, the company is set to open the Signal Box at Euston Station and the Parcel Office at Liverpool Street station.

The Signal Box, which will open next spring and include a terrace area, will occupy the space that had previously been earmarked for what would have been Greene King’s first station pub – the Duke of Grafton, in which it pledged to invest a seven-figure sum in 2014.

Award-winning sites

On the two new sites, a Fuller’s spokesperson told MCA: “We can confirm that we’ve agreed terms with Network Rail to open sites at Euston Station and Liverpool Street Station, although there are still some final details being worked on. The new pubs will be called the Signal Box at Euston and the Parcel Office at Liverpool Street Station.”

The Parcel Yard won the award for Best Individual Food and Beverage Concept at a Rail Station at the International Food and Beverage Creative Excellence Awards (FAB) 2014.

Stonegate Pub Company is to enter the transport hub sector for the first time after acquiring Bar Holdings – the company behind the five-strong Sports Bar & Grill concept, for an undisclosed sum.

London Pride rebrand

Last week, the family-owned brewery and pub company announced the release of its 2017 edition of Vintage Ale.

The beer is the 21st incarnation of the annual limited-edition brew, made using a new variety of malting barley and classic British hops.

Earlier this month, the brewery rebranded its flagship cask ale London Pride, launching it with a new social media campaign and countrywide pump clip changeover.
