Craft Beer Rising 2018 will take place between 22-24 February at The Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane, Shoreditch.
It will be the sixth year in which the festival has taken place, having started in 2013.
Trends from 2017
No breweries or sponsors have been announced for the 2018 festival, which this year showcased more than 700 beers from around 170 breweries.
At the 2017 festival, brewers told The Morning Advertiser that sour beers, barrel ageing and extra strength were three of the trends that pub operators should look out for this year.
SIBA partnership for GBBF
Meanwhile, drinkers will be able to identify beers produced by independent breweries at this year’s Great British Beer Festival (GBBF), thanks to a partnership between the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) and the festival’s organisers.
SIBA, one of the main sponsors of GBBF, announced it would be working with the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) to promote its “Assured Independent British Craft Brewer” (AIBCB) logo on posters at the festival, which takes place place between 8 and 12 August at London Olympia.
