Great British Pub Awards 2017 finalists unveiled

The finalists have been announced for the Great British Pub Awards 2017.

This year saw a huge number of entries submitted for the awards across 17 categories from all across the UK.

Following an initial two rounds of rigorous judging the finalists have finally been chosen. They will now be visited by one of the judges where they will have their business scrutinised and then a panel of judges will conduct final interviews with the pubs by Skype.

A winner from each category will be selected and announced at the glittering event which takes place on Thursday, 7 September at London Hilton on Park Lane.

Editor of the Morning Advertiser Ed Bedington said: “This is one of the most rigorous judging processes in the pub sector.
