Carling and JD Wetherspoon launch community campaign

Carling has teamed up with JD Wetherspoon to launch a nationwide campaign in JDW pubs to “give something back” to communities across Great Britain.

From June to October 2017, Carling will support local community projects across the country - from funding a new football pitch to mending broken walls or painting the village hall.

“Traditionally pubs have always been the centre of their communities. A place where people meet and talk about the issues facing their area,” said Clare Vintner Molson Coors customer marketing director.

Wetherspoon drinkers will be able to help decide what this money should be spent on, by nominating community projects. A panel of judges will select a number of projects to receive funding.

Great British Pubs

The initiative compliments Molson Coors’ existing ‘Putting the Great Back into Great British Pubs and Clubs’ campaign which is all about putting pubs at the heart of communities.
