The three pubs – the Catcher in the Rye, Finchley, north London; the College Arms, Fitzrovia, central London; and Comptons, Soho, central London – have been bought by the managed pub company for an undisclosed sum.
Stonegate chief executive Simon Longbottom said that the sites would strengthen the company's presence in key areas of London.
"This portfolio of pubs from Faucet Inn is an excellent bolt-on acquisition for Stonegate and further strengthens our presence in some key trading locations, enhancing our pub estate in Greater London," Longbottom explained.
"We have a strong track record in integrating, investing in and maximising value from the acquisitions that we make and have every confidence that these pubs – and the teams within them – will thrive under Stonegate’s ownership. I look forward to welcoming our new colleagues into the enlarged group," he said.
The acquisitions take Stonegate, which runs brands such as Slug & Lettuce and Yates, to a total estate of 693 sites nationwide. It follows the group's acquisition of 10 JD Wetherspoon sites and 30 Intertain bars in the second half of 2016.
