The group, which has approximately 850 sites across England, Wales and Scotland, is seeking applications from individuals with a "passion and a community-focus".
Admiral Taverns head of recruitment and people development Suzanne Smith said each event would have a business development manager on hand to talk through available training support packages, which cover topics including open-book accountancy and stocktaking, and marketing and promotion.
“Our Business Support Agreement provides support for the licensee during the crucial start-up period," she told The Morning Advertiser (MA). "Working closely with an experienced business development manager, the licensee will develop a business plan for the pub and, through our shared vision for the pub, will have access to a wide range of business-building initiatives."
The open days will be held on:
- 25 January, at the Cross Keys Inn in Coleorton, Leicestershire
- 26 January at the Olde Queens Head in Halesowen, West Midlands
- 15 February at the New Mill in South Shields, Newcastle
“We are looking for experienced licensees, who are perhaps looking to move, as well as licensees who are completely new to the industry and want to be part of a supportive pub company team," Smith added.
Earlier this week, MA reported that Admiral's Brooklyn's Sports Bar in Newcastle-under-Lyme is set to make its debut in March. Previously known as the Ironmarket, the new venue is currently undergoing a £300,000 refurbishment.
