The early stages of the World Darts Championship and some fascinating Premier League football fixtures are the central sporting attractions to show in the pub this weekend.

Darts: World Darts Championship (Saturday and Sunday, 1pm and 7pm) - Sky Sports Darts

Those at the darts never need an excuse to get merry at this time of year, and there is no reason why those festivities cannot be replicated in the pub. From an in-pub darts competition to cranking up the volume on the TV to bring the atmosphere into your pub, there are plenty of ways to capitalise on the biggest darts tournament of them all.

Football: Manchester City v Arsenal (Sunday, 4pm) - Sky Sports 1

Both teams harbour ambitions of winning the Premier League this season, but whichever side fails to win this match is at risk of being cut away from runaway leaders Chelsea. As a result, this is likely to be an intense and fast-paced match to enjoy in the pub.

NFL: New England Patriots @ Denver Broncos (Sunday, 9pm) - Sky Sports 2

Two of the most popular NFL franchises meet this weekend. Sunday evening can often be a quiet time in the pub, but the timing of this match offers a great chance to bring in American Football fans.

Football: Everton v Liverpool (Monday, 8pm) - Sky Sports 1

Not technically the weekend, but it is still sport that will bring fans of both clubs and neutrals into the pub. Liverpool have been a hugely exciting team to watch this season, while Everton gave a stunning performance in their victory over Arsenal earlier this week. With both sides wanting to be the top team on Merseyside, Monday trade for pubs is in for a boost.
