Par-fect weekend: Europe will be aiming to beat the USA again
Golf's most famous tournament is the centrepiece of an eclectic weekend of sport.

Golf: Ryder Cup (Friday 12.30pm; Saturday 12.30pm; Sunday 4pm) - Sky Sports 1 & Sky Sports 4

Golf's biennial contest between Europe and the USA takes place over the entirety of this weekend. The last time the Ryder Cup took place in the USA we saw the Miracle of Medinah played out at prime pub time on a Sunday night, because of the time difference with the USA. On top of this, Sky is the only network showing live coverage of the match. All of this means that there is guaranteed to be a selection of customers that will secure their seat in the pub for a full weekend of action. Be prepared for them.

Formula 1: Malaysian Grand Prix (Qualifying: Saturday 10am; Race: Sunday 8am) - Sky Sports F1

Due to the tropical climate, Malaysia regularly sees a dramatic race. Lewis Hamilton will hope that, this year, it's a dramatic race that goes in his favour because he has gone off the boil in the race for the World Championship lately. Either way, if you make a big deal of showing F1 in your pub, be prepared for the early start.

Rugby Union: Gloucester v Bath (Saturday 3pm) - BT Sport 2

There is no love lost between these West Country rivals and you can guarantee that those not at Kingsholm will want to enjoy the fiery atmosphere of the match in the pub.

Football: Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester City (Sunday 2.15pm) - Sky Sports 1

The stand-out Premier League game from this weekend sees the only two remaining unbeaten sides in the league this season face each other at White Hart Lane. With these two teams currently heading up the table, there should be a hefty amount of neutrals that want to make the most of this match.

NFL: Jacksonville Jaguars v Indianapolis Colts (Sunday 2.30pm) - BBC 2

The first of three NFL matches in England this season brings with it a much more palatable kick-off time than your standard NFL match. The Wembley matches always bring a carnival-like atmosphere and pubs specialising in NFL will be looking to replicate that atmosphere for the game.
