CPL Training has achieved a record market share in Personal Licence training for the first quarter of this year and now have more than a third of the market for the Award for Personal Licence Holders (APLH) training across England and Wales.

The training company saw its best performance to date, with more than 4,900 APLH delegates training with the company from January to March this year over 75 centres.

As a result of the achievement, CPL are offering a £34 discount on APLH courses scheduled across England and Wales until 9 September, which can be redeemed by calling and quoting CPL 34.

Customer loyalty

CPL boss Daniel Davies said: “We are delighted to have further cemented our position as the largest provider of the APLH qualification. Since the turn of the year, we’ve experienced an increasing flow of new customers and great loyalty from existing clients, demonstrating the great experience of training and booking with APL Training. As we look to expand our APLH delivery through the acquisition of other training companies, it’s a great time to be a part of the CPL family.”

Louise Sui, CPL’s commercial director said: “To celebrate our 34% market share in Personal Licence Training, we’re delighted to offer a £34 discount on APLH courses. We are always searching for ways to increase the quality and accessibility of our training, which has been key to our success over the past five years. It’s been a great start to the year so far and we look to continue our impressive growth across all areas of the business.”

Growth

This achievement was made known following Davies's announcement of the company’s growth plans through the acquisition of other training companies, including one of their largest competitors, abv Training.

Currently, around 20,000 people undertake personal licence training with CPL each year and this figure has been rising steadily over the last five years.
