BrewDog reveals 660ml Dead Pony Club bottles on Snapchat

BrewDog is now producing 660ml bottles of its hoppy Dead Pony Club brew, which it revealed to customers in a Snapchat exclusive, after rocking the trade earlier this week with the release of its first real ale.

The ABV 3.8% session pale ale, which is made using Simcoe, Citra and Mosaic hops, has long been available in 330ml bottles, 330ml cans and on draught.

Last night, in a bid to grow its Snapchat followers, the brewer, distiller and operator urged its Facebook, Twitter and Instagram followers to “follow BrewDogCrew on Snapchat” to see another new release.

Posts across its social media channels read: “Hot on the hooves of LIVE beer, we have a second Dead Pony Club announcement. Follow BewDogCrew on Snapchat to find out!”

On Snapchat BrewDog posted a picture of the new bottles fresh from the production line with the words “Dead Pony Club 660ml”, followed by an excited emoji and a beer emoji.

However, hype on social media still surrounds its earlier key-keg Live Dead Pony Club release.

The Live beer's creation was possible because of BrewDog's key-keg production process, and fermentation in the keg, which gained Campaign for Real Ale approval.
