The menu overhaul – the largest the brand has recently undertaken – adds 15 new dishes to Revolution menus and will see city centre venues focus largely on casual dining-style dishes and ‘New York bistro’ options such as duck confit with burnt orange and pecan and pear salads.
'Motherclucker'
More rural sites will focus primarily on Revolution’s already-established burger offer, which includes dishes such as ‘the Motherclucker’, which features a beef patty, corn-battered chicken, smoked Cheddar, streaky bacon, barbecue sauce, chorizo ketchup, sweet potato chips and crispy onions.
Mark Rush, head of food innovation at Revolution Bars Group, said: “Food is a huge part of our offering and generates a considerable portion of our turnover so it is vital we get the menu right for our customers across the country.
“We decided to launch two new menus after noting that those in different geographical locations have different demands when eating out.”
Positive
Feedback so far on the decision had been positive, he said.
Revolution is supporting the menu overhaul with an integrated marketing campaign, including a burger giveaway with 6,000 up for grabs.
Earlier this year, the group announced a menu overhaul geared towards ‘authenticity’ for its Cuban-themed brand Revolucion de Cuba with an emphasis on enhancing its vegetarian offer.
