Starting in London on 23 February, the trade shows give the opportunity to engage with suppliers the Enterprise team, get business advice, take advantage of exclusive deals and witness live cooking demonstrations showcasing the latest food trends
More than 160 suppliers will demonstrate products and services, up from 120 last year.
Wow factor
Enterprise sales and marketing director James Armitage said: “This year we’ll be delivering more wow factor to really highlight the pub trade opportunity, plus the depth and breadth of support that Enterprise offers.
“We’re expecting a higher number of visitors than ever before thanks to some impressive new suppliers, including Booker, and a whole host of industry guest speakers who will deliver practical business advice.”
Live cooking demonstrations and business advice sessions include pub menu trends, social media and website best practice, making the most of televised sport and maximising profits from game machine technology.
Diageo’s Bar Academy is advising on best bar practice, spirit ranging and the perfect serve, while There’s A Beer For That will hold a beer clinic.
New suppliers include snack providers Edgar’s Choice and Snaffling Pig, and companies offering EPOS, furniture and hygiene supplies.
This year enterpriselive returns to Olympia, having been at Wembley Stadium in 2015, and will also visit two new venues Farnborough Five, Farnborough, and Event City, Manchester.
Business opportunities
Armitage added: “It’s great to have new suppliers on board offering additional business opportunities to publicans ahead of the busy Easter trading period at the end of March.”
Publicans who register will receive a book of vouchers worth more than £7,000 which they can use to redeem free products and enter prize draws at the shows.
The prize draws will include a free beer order of up to £500, one day with a food development chef to help with menu planning, Diageo Bar Academy training worth £500, and a Bulmer’s garden kit.
A dedicated Facebook page will provide publicans with show news and updates.
One publican visiting enterpriselive will be Russell Evans, who operates four Enterprise pubs around Norwich.
He said: “I’m getting my pub managers together to visit the Olympia show next month, which I expect will be a valuable opportunity to hear about trends, meet suppliers, and sample new products.
“For me, it’s about learning what we can do to drive our pubs forward, and give customers even more reasons to visit.”
