Sky Sports to hand pubs 10,000 football and racing tickets

Pubs subscribing to Sky Sports have been offered the chance to claim 5,000 Sky Bet Football League tickets and 5,000 race day tickets - which their customers can win throughout February in a promotion that aims to boost trade.

To win a pair of tickets, pub customers need to log on to a dedicated website and enter a unique code. They will then be prompted to select their preferred choice of team or race venue, and will be notified by Sky if they are successful.

David Rey, managing director of Sky Business, said:​ “We’re really excited about this promotion and pleased to be giving something back to our valued licensee customers. This promotion offers licensees the chance to attract more customers into their pubs and put more cash in their tills.

“With 72 teams in the Sky Bet Football League, as well as some of the best racing events in the calendar covered by At The Races, there’s something for everyone, bringing more people through the doors of Sky Sports venues this February.”

Thousands of Sky Sports licensed venues have already signed up to the promotion, with more still coming through. The first 1,000 will also receive a full promotional kit to help them promote the ticket giveaway and dress their venues.
