Former boxer and SkySports pundit Jonny Nelson expects a “blockbuster” on Saturday night (28 November).
“Whether you love him of loath him, if you want him to win or you hope he gets knocked out, you’re going to watch it. I would be in the pub watching it with my mates,” he told the Punlican’s Morning Advertiser.
“Klitschko won’t sense one ounce of fear, there’s complete belief from Tysop Fury. I’d like him to win, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he does.”
Klitscho’s fights have been labelled as boring by some, but Nelso expects a more exciting fight.
“Tyson Fury has done some outrageous things - he’s come out dressed as Batman, created headlines. The last person that did that was David Haye,” he said.
“But Fury is taller, he could unsettle him. Klitschko won’t be able to control with his height like he has against Haye.
“He’s a lot taller than. We are going to see Wladamir get hit - and his reach isn’t going to be his savior.”
And will fury continue if he loses?
“If he loses he might not want to box on - if he can’t be the best he may stop. If your dream is to be the best in the world, then your motivation would be different. Boxers have a hunter’s mentality,” Nelson added.
Sky Sports Box Office will show live coverage of the fight, and pubs can benefit from an early bird price if they purchase by midnight on 26 November.
The broadcaster is also airing Anthony Joshua fighting Dillian Whyte at The O2 on December 12.
Nelson continued: “Anthony Joshua is the heir apparent. It will be a blockbuster.
“Is he the real deal? This is the first big test. It could be the beginning of something special. There are other good fighters out there, domestically we have such a good crop.”
Nelson predicts the winners of the two fights to face each other later in 2016.
