Butcombe Brewery triumph at LTC's National Golf Tournament
Eleven teams made it up to North Berwick for the final following nationwide heats, with players from breweries, pubcos, individual pubs and their customers.
The charity raised £23,000 through the tournament and funds will be used to provide support services to those working in pubs and breweries if they hit health, housing or financial problems.
The LTC will support close to 6,000 people in the trade this year either through guidance on its website or direct support.
Brendan Napier, head of field sales at Sky, which sponsored the final, said: “We are delighted to support a cause that does such fantastic work. The charity is synonymous with the core values of the licensed trade — humility, camaraderie and a genuine support network.”
