The Lifestyle Hospitality Group (LHG), which operates multiple restaurant brands under franchise, is planning to build a managed pub estate following the launch of its first pub.

Under the moniker The Really Good Pub Company , LHG has acquired the leasehold of its first pub in Worcester which it will “organically develop” as a food-led managed house.

Ioan Eyton-Jones, operations director at LHG told M&C the pub is currently trading in an early state serving a homemade menu of locally sourced, high quality ingredients.

Eyton-Jones said it will be a completely homemade offering with a ‘Best of British’ menu comprising homemade, simple food using high quality local ingredients.

The pub is open and currently trading in a very early state with the management team developing the model so it can be re-launched in the next few weeks.

He said LHG plans to develop The Really Good Pub Company to a point the group is happy with and organically grow the business.
