New beers for JDW pubs during festival

JDW pubs will be serving ten beers from around the world as part of a 17-day festival. It will be the first time many of the beers will be served in the brand’s pubs, with some brewed exclusively for the festival.

The festival will feature new, seasonal and specialty beers, including a spiced ale, a cheery porter, two rye beers and two smoked porters.

Beers on offer include: Real Ale (Young Henry’s, Australia), Nordic Noir (Nogne O, Norway), Zulu Blonde (Zululand, South Africa), Low Blow (Fork & Brewer, New Zealand), Yakima Sun (Fat Heads, USA), Minagof Smoked Porter (Ishii Brewing, Japan), Red Racer (Central City, Canada), Sunset Ale (Two Birds, Australia), Spiced Ale (Flying Dutchman, Holland) and Bengali (Sixpoint, USA).

All of the international brewers have been selected to brew for the festival after being chosen as the ‘best of the best.’

Festival organiser Rob Davies said: “We are thrilled to be serving such a fantastic selection of beers from across the world as well as those from the UK. The overseas beers are a mix of some that have never previously been available as cask ales in the UK and some which have been brewed again due to popular demand.

“The festival will be the perfect way for real ale enthusiasts to enjoy a range of excellent beers from overseas brewers. It will also give them an opportunity to support brewers throughout the UK, as the pubs are featuring many of their beers.”
