Young's rolls out Burger Shack at three London sites
Burger Shacks can now be found in the gardens of the Ship Inn, Wandsworth, the Wood House, Dulwich and the Leather Bottle, Earlsfield, following openings at the Windmill, Clapham and the Bull, Streatham, in May.
The Rose & Crown, Wimbledon, also recently hosted a pop-up burger shack for two weeks.
Patrick Dardis, retail director at Young’s, said: “It’s all been hugely successful.
“We sold nearly 2,000 burgers and over 1,000 curly fries at the Rose & Crown for the two weeks alone.
“The original sites, the Windmill and the Bull, are flying too.”
The PMA understands the company plans to open more than 20 burger shacks across its estate, with Dardis saying there could be at least another ten in the pipeline over the next 12 months.
Beef used in Young’s Burger Shacks has been sourced from West Country farms in Devon, Somerset and Dorset, with pork coming from Dingley Dell Farm and Essex Freedom Food pigs.
