The Spirits Summit will take place during London Cocktail Week on 6 October at Ham Yard Hotel, in Soho.
The must-attend event is designed to bring the industry together to showcase new thinking and innovations, as well as discuss key challenges facing the category. The day will focus on how all segments of the trade can make the most of new and exciting opportunities spanning the world of cocktails and single serves.
The sector continues to perform well in the on-trade and has enjoyed year-on-year growth. But a huge opportunity remains for pubs and bars to make more of their spirits offering through stocking decisions, new serves, merchandising and staff training.
Having a great spirits or cocktail range can mark the difference between a premium outlet and a standard one. The summit offers those with a commercial interest in the category the opportunity to not just ride the premiumisation trend, but instead be seen as real trailblazers.
'Exciting'
The day will feature insight presentations from category experts, alongside case studies and masterclasses, and will be followed by an inspiring study tour of some of the capital’s most cutting-edge and exciting spirits-led venues.
The event is supported by headline partners Diageo and Coca-Cola Enterprises.
Those attending the summit will include a mix of senior level pub company buyers, retailers, brand owners, plus distillers and distributors large and small. A full agenda will be unveiled soon.
