New World Trading Company (NWTC), the Chris Hill-led group, is set to open new bar and restaurant concept the Club House on Liverpool ONE’s Chavasse Park.

The Club House will offer the company's signature hanging kebabs, “home comfort” food and feature a permanent barbecue and grill at the front of the building.

The 7,446sq ft, 600-cover site will be housed in a specially-created pavilion-style building and will trade from two floors, including a first floor terrace. It has been granted planning permission and work will begin this month ahead of opening later this year.

New World Trading Company won Best Managed Pub Company (2 to 50 sites) and Best Drinks Offer in the Publican Awards 2015.

Live music focus

Hill said: “This is a really exciting time for NWTC with The Club House bringing something very new and exciting to Liverpool ONE. Live music every day will set the scene and the atmosphere. Teamed with tasty ‘home comfort’ food, including our signature Hanging Kebabs and an anthology of ales (over 80 beers and ciders to choose from), it will make The Club House unlike anything else in the city in a totally unique setting.”

The announcement coincides with an 11% increase in MAT catering sales at Liverpool ONE and a 2.5% rise in footfall year-to-date.
