Whiting & Hammond secures eighth site
Whiting and Hammond, the pub and restaurant group, will open its eighth pub site in mid-August at the Blue Ball in Walton on the Hill, Surrey.
The Blue Ball, which is owned by Star Pubs and Bars, has been closed for over two years.
Work on a £750,000 refurbishment programme has started and plans include an extension, a new top of the range kitchen as well as three huts in the garden which will be available for alfresco dining all-year round.
Whiting and Hammond is currently recruiting a team of over 35 to run and manage the site.
Managing director Brian Whiting said: “This is an exciting time and we look forward to getting this pub open and trading once more. I have no doubt Walton on the Hill will be proud to have this great pub as their local once more.”
