Drake & Morgan to launch 'Selfie Sofa' promo campaign at the Refinery
At D&M site the Refinery, Bankside, customers are being encouraged to take selfies of themselves and their friends on the site’s ‘Selfie Sofa’ with provided selfie sticks from 5 – 12 May.
Customers who share their selfies on social media with the hashtag #selfiesofa @therefinerybar will then be up for the chance to win a brunch for the group worth £250.
Brunching out
The new brunch offer was created by executive chef Robert Mitchell and will be available at the Refinery, Bankside, the Fable, Farringdon, the Parlour, Canada Square and city sites the Happenstance, the Folly and the Drift.
The menu features a selection of all-day breakfast style dishes such as eggs benedict and ‘gourmet’ bacon sandwiches as well as ‘heartier’ options such as a Wagyu beef burger with blue cheese and tomato chutney, Scotch egg with piccalilli and two roasts with a choice of beef or chicken.
Drinks
The group has also introduced a range of four new variations on the Bloody Mary and a selection of ‘Springtime Sips’ including the Mimosa NYC; with prosecco, orange juice, kumquat shrub and kwai feh lychee, the Brit Sprits; with Kamm & Sons, Chapel Down, elderflower and soda and the Beauty of the Orient; with Ketel One, vermouth, mint green tea, coriander and pomegranate molasses.
Bottomless Brunch
Recently opened ETM Group site the Botanist, Broadgate Circle, has introduced a new ‘Bottomless Brunch’ deal, with customers able to get two courses for £20 or three for £25 with unlimited prosecco, mimosas, Bloody Marys or house wine available for an extra £15.
Some of the dishes featured on the Botanist’s brunch menu include soft-shell crab ‘Benedict’ with jalapeño hollandaise, Weiner schnitzel, avocado and chilli on toast with smoked bacon and a Shorthorn burger with smoked Cheddar and hand-cut chips.
The new site’s daily menu also includes dishes such as a 1.2kg ‘Axe’ steak, salt cod and jamon croquettes with saffron aioli, confit duck burger with blue cheese and Iberico pork shoulder with almonds, pickled nectarines and nasturtium.
