ETM Group extends the Botanist concept with new London Liverpool Street site
Situated in the capital's £20m Broadgate Circle development, the Botanist Broadgate Circle will occupy a dual-level 7,986 sq ft space, including a ground floor bar and restaurant and a “subterranean soda room” open until 2am four nights a week.
Food offer
The venue, which features a 158-cover dining area, opens for trade on Thursday 16 April with Sam Hawkes, formerly head chef of sister ETM site the Cadogan Arms in Chelsea, leading the kitchen team.
Hawkes said: “The inspiration behind our new menus is simple really; it is all about showcasing the very best of British produce which has always been at the core of the Botanist and ETM Group’s food philosophy.
“The guys and I have had great fun spending time coming up with new and exciting dishes ranging from innovative botany inspired bar snacks to more hearty and satisfying fare – we can’t wait to share it all with the hungry City crowd.”
The Botanist Broadgate Circle’s menu is set to feature dishes such as shellfish platters, tuna tartare, Iberico pork shoulder with pickled nectarines and nasturtium and confit duck burger with blue cheese as well as a selection of steaks.
Drinks on offer include a range of international wines, premium draft lagers, cider, spirits and a variety of cocktails.
The venue will also feature a dancefloor with live DJ nights scheduled to take place.
Successful format
Tom Martin, co-founder of ETM Group, said: “The Botanist on Sloane Square is one of our busiest London venues and the brand is ideally suited to the clientele of Broadgate and the City in general.
“We are delighted to be bringing this highly successful format to such a prominent and prestigious City location.”
