From May, the Milk House in Sissinghurst will offer visitors the opportunity to roll up their sleeves and get involved with English wine production, followed by lunch at the pub and a glass of Kent Vineyard’s Rampant Horse wine.
The 'Cheery Days' experiences cover everything from canopy care and pruning, to picking, crushing and pressing.
Chef-owner Dane Allchorne said: “We’re excited to be working with Kent Vineyard to celebrate the fantastic English wine on our doorstep and offer visitors the chance to learn more. We’ve always been passionate about supporting local suppliers.”
Richard Jebb, director and winemaker at Kent Vineyard, added: “The Milk House can be commended for supporting the opportunity we have created for people to experience vineyard life firsthand; to learn, live, share and enjoy the seasons in an English vineyard."
