Sue Guilfoyle, national account manager at JJ Foodservice, said: “We want to promote some of the great things our customers are doing while inspiring others with new and interesting menu ideas.
“We appreciate that caterers are short on time so we think the punchy 30-second format is spot on.”
Temptations Café, in Clerkenwell, London, was the first business to involved in the scheme with the creation of a video of the making of a hot roast pork brioche bun with crackling and apple sauce.
Guilfoyle added: “Clerkenwell caters to the tastes of trendy office workers and Temptations is a great example of a café that’s keeping its menu fresh, contemporary and relevant to its demographic.
“We’d be interested to hear from other customers doing something innovative on their menus.”
