The Nescafé Milano New Generation is aimed at helping pub operators provide customers with a wide selection of high quality coffees without a barista.
Matt Lane, head of beverage solutions at Nestlé Professional, said: “There is no doubt that we are a nation of coffee lovers.
“In fact, recent research has found that 40% of people prefer a chat with friends over a cup of coffee rather than over a traditional pint or glass of wine.
“Pub customers have incredibly high expectations for their coffee and ‘super premium’ is now the fastest growing sector in the core coffee market.”
The machine allows users to prepare coffee to customer specifications, monitor sales and introduce seasonal variants and promotions.
The introduction of these features is meant to eliminate the need to train staff for any substantial amount of time to produce barista-quality coffee.
