London operators serve up deals to beat January blues

ETM’s bring your own bottle​

In recent years, the final Monday in January has become recognised as the most depressing day of the year.

This time around, it falls on the 26th. To cheer customers up, ETM Group​ is offering those dining on the day the opportunity to bring their own bottle of wine, without any corkage.

Participating outlets include the Jugged Hare​ in the City, the Well ​in Clerkenwell, the Gun​ in Docklands, the White Swan​ on Fetter Lane, the Botanist​ on Sloane Square and One Canada Square ​in Canary Wharf.

Drake & Morgan’s moral dilemma​

Drake & Morgan is offering customers a choice – when the Christmas and New Year festivities are over, they can either continue the hedonism or call a halt to it.

The seven-site operator’s ‘Hedonist or healthkick?’ offer is a dish and a drink for £12.95.

The indulgent option is a wagyu burger with a pint of Kozel, while a superfood salad with a Bubbly Beautiful cocktail is the healthy alternative. The offer runs from 12noon to 9pm Mondays to Thursdays.

The company is also giving customers the chance to win a dinner party worth £500 at each of its sites.

Make or break at All Bar One​

Included in the deal is a main dish and a drink. Healthy options include pad Thai or quinoa and edamame bean salad with a peppermint tea or skinny Mojito, while those who are happy to break their resolutions can plump for the homemade burger or chargrilled piri piri chicken with fries and glass of white wine or pint of Amstel.

Steak deal at Young’s​

Young’s Pubs will be offering diners the chance to enjoy 21-day aged, 8oz sirloin steaks with béarnaise sauce and fries for two for £25 throughout the month.

The meat treat will be available across Young’s entire estate from Sunday 4 January through to Thursday 29 January for tables of two to nine.
