Vedett IPA launched
Belgian brewery Duvel Moortgat has added an IPA to its Vedett range.

Vedett Extra Ordinary India Pale Ale is made with Simcoe and Cascade hops and then dry hopped with Centennial and Chinook.

It has a pronounced bitterness with hints of grapefruits on the finish and is said to be, “fuelled by velvety, malty undertones before giving rise to sweeter caramel notes.”

Matthew Wilson, the UK general manager for the brewery, said: “This new addition to the Vedett stable will offer discerning beer enthusiasts another element of choice. It’s also a great beer to pair with spicier food.”

The 5.5% ABV brew joins its sister brews Vedett Extra Blond and Vedett Extra White in the UK later this month and will be available on draught and in bottle.
