Brains NATO beers
Barack Obama, Angela Merkel and David Cameron are to get their own beers in honour of the NATO conference in Wales later this week.

Welsh brewer Brains has created the brews: Obeerma, Merkale and Beer Cam.

“It’s not very often you get 67 heads of state and government descend on Wales so it’s great to be able to showcase our brewing credentials to a global audience,” said head of marketing Bruce Newman.

“As Wales’ best loved brewer, we’re delighted to welcome Barack, Angela and Dave to Newport and Cardiff. And, if they can find the time, we’d love for them to join us at the brewery to sample one of their beers.”

The beers will be available at a reception, being held in Tredegar House, for the 67 heads of state in Wales ahead of the conference, which is being held in the Celtic Manor Resort.

A limited number of beers will also be given away on social media, for people who come up with the best NATO beer puns.
