The UK’s largest pub company has signed a three-year deal with iTradeNetwork to provide online ordering technology across its estate.
Licensees will be using iTradeNetwork’s Supplier Storefront solution, a bespoke, fully integrated, online ordering system which provides tenants with the convenience of being able to order 24/7 from any location.
They will also benefit from access to online exclusive offers as well as intuitive features such as order history and favourites.
Over the last six months, the online ordering solution has been extensively piloted across 70 sites, then a further 320 who registered their interest at enterpriselive roadshows.
Research during the trial period revealed that 92% of licensees thought the online ordering system was easy to use, with 92% saying they would recommend the platform to other licensees.
To support the launch, a video has been produced along with a quick start guide to online ordering. Enterprise has also introduced a number of incentives designed to encourage Publicans to try the system and then place regular orders.
Prize draw
Those placing their first online order before the end of September will be entered into a prize draw to win an iPad, whilst by completing three online transactions Publicans will receive a £50 voucher to redeem against further orders.
Simon Townsend, chief executive of Enterprise, said: “The new online ordering platform offers our Publicans greater convenience and flexibility with their purchasing and also greater customer choice, including a range of special offers and promotions. We chose to work with iTradeNetwork because they have an excellent track record of providing similar systems within the hospitality sector.”
Alex Walters, iTradeNetwork’s European sales director, said: “We are delighted to partner with Enterprise to provide them with an online ordering system. The Supplier Storefront platform uses the latest on-demand technology providing publicans with the highest level of customer experience and a quicker and more convenient way to order.”
Charlotte Roberts and Christopher Wallis, from the Tom O’ The Wood, in Rowington, Warwickshire, were the first to place an order online. Charlotte, who won a bottle of champagne for being first, which was presented to her by regional manager Helen McKenna, said: “It has fantastic features, and with it being so easy to use and convenient it has become just the way to order.”
