Managing director David Evans has confirmed he will convert his Shaftesbury Belle Steakhouse Rupert Street, to re-open on 18 September.
The company will open its sixth Bar & Grill site next April within the Crossrail railway station complex at Canary Wharf. It will feature three bars, an open kitchen, private dining facilities and a smoking balcony – and capacity for more than 1,000.
Evans said: “To operate in the heart of London’s vibrant West End has always been my vision for the Sports Bar &Grill and I am delighted we can now offer our local and international customers and sport fans alike with a top notch bar experience, whilst showcasing the best live sports available.”
The two-floor Rupert Street site will feature 20 large Sony plasma screens and offer classic pub dishes including traditional beer battered fish & chips, sharing platters, burgers, prime steaks and the bars’ renowned Classic American Hot Dogs selection, all prepared in the bar’s open kitchen.
