Budweiser sponsor NFL
US brewer AB InBev has signed a deal for Budweiser to extend its relationship with the American football championship, the NFL (National Football League).

Bud Light is already the official beer of the competition in the US and Canada but the new deal will see the original 4.8% ABV Budweiser beer at Mexican and UK games as well.

This is year is the eighth that the NFL International Series has organised games in the UK. This season three games in total will be played at Wembley Stadium, all of which have already sold out.

“We look forward to bringing NFL fans around the world closer to the game they love – after all, what goes better together than a great game and an ice cold beer,” said Ricardo Dias, Global VP consumer connections.

The beer was official beer of the World Cup this year, and launched a UK campaign in February to make the most of the deal.
