Aimed at both children and adults, the drinks come in 375ml glass bottles and three flavours – lime, strawberry and mandarin – will be launched initially by importer Bloomsbury Drinks.
“With the huge rise in popularity of Mexican cuisine over the last few years, customers are actively looking for authentic, natural drinks with which to accompany such vibrant, flavoursome meals or to enjoy on their own…and Jarritos is just the answer,” said director Mark Walton.
All the drinks in the range are made with natural sugar and real fruit which, the company claims, makes them low in both cholesterol and sodium and a, “great alternative to the high calorie soft drinks on the market.”
Last month Tipsy, an alcohol-flavoured water brand launched in the UK, to try and bring some excitement to the soft drinks category.
