The 40% ABV spirit is made in the company’s copper pot still “Prudence” from English wheat.
It is designed to be drunk neat over ice or in a Vesper Martini and is described as having a, “rounded, warming brightness on the palette,” and a “deliciously delicate” finish.
“Our mission since day one has been to bring the art and craft of traditional distillation back to London, with a commitment to handcrafting award-winning spirits of uncompromising quality. Our new Sipping Vodka does just that,” said co-founder Fairfax Hall.
The company is also unveiling new packaging for its portfolio of spirits, which is intended to better reflect the philosophy and ethos behind the brand.
It draws inspiration from old embossed gin bottles but with a contemporary twist.
The new Sipping Vodka will be the first of the Sipsmith spirits to sport the new look, alongside the company’s London Dry Gin and its V.J.O.P Gin.
The company was founded in 2009 and has recently expanded.
Last year it added a second still, Patience, and two months ago the team moved to larger premises in London’s Chiswick.
