Tuesday's annual conference at 1 Wimpole Street in London will examine future trends in the licensed retail sector.
ALMR strategic affairs director, Kate Nicholls said: “We are delighted that the Minister will be joining us at the forthcoming Spring Conference to discuss the health of the high street and the contributions being made by licensed retail.
“It will be fascinating and informative to hear more about the challenges and opportunities before the industry from a prominent member of Government. We will have a first class opportunity to listen and engage with an individual who intimately involved with policy-making and the Minister who represents many of our businesses in Parliament.
The conference will also feature a keynote speech from journalist and economist, Tim Harford, a presentation by broadcaster and journalist, Adam Boulton and a panel discussion led by the Publican's Morning Advertiser editor Rob Willock.
Nicholls said: “I look forward to hearing from the Minster and all of our speakers on what they think the future holds for this industry.”
The ALMR has warned delegates to be aware of possible travel disruption because of the planned tube strike.
