The move means Cask Marque will use Black Sheep as their North-East venue for Cellar Management Training.
The North Yorkshire based brewery joins nine other centres across the country, including Fullers, Marstons and Brains.
Paul Nunny, director of Cask Marque, said: “Good cellar management is so key to beer quality, sales and yields and has a massive effect on a pubs profitability. There is clearly a demand for licensees and staff to be more professional. “
He added that two new courses were to be introduced covering line cleaning, glass washing and the ‘perfect pour’, to be held in licensess’ own pubs.
