The shortlist for the International Beer Awards 2014 has been released.

The nominees include Charles Wells, which is in the running for Best Brewery Partnership after teaming up with Dogfish Head Craft Brewery of Milton, Delaware, USA, to produce DNA New World and Old World IPA.

Thwaites also gets the nod in the Label of the Year category for its Crafty Dan range, while Carlsberg UK has been nominated for best new product launch for Carlsberg Citrus.

The International Beer Awards are organised by Arena International and recognise the very best beer and beer brand styles. The winner will be announced at the Beer Strategies Conference in Rome on 13 May.

Justin Phillimore, Managing Director of Wells & Young’s, the brewing division of Charles Wells, said: “We’re thrilled to have been shortlisted for an International Beer Award and look forward to developing our partnership with Sam Calagione and the team from Dogfish Head in the months to come.”
